travel cruising the world tahitian princess south pacific

In October of 2007 we flew to Papeete, Tahiti, and boarded the Tahitian Princess for a ten day cruise of French Polynesia and the Cook Islands.
The Tahitian Princess is one of Princess's smaller cruise ships and, to us, was a lot more pleasant than the giant cruise ships that now rule the seas.
Before we booked the cruise, we researched the weather and events calendars of the islands on the internet.
Most of the information was accurate and the weather was almost perfect... not too hot, and almost no rain... perfectly between the heat and the monsoons.
The staff on the ship, surprisingly mostly eastern European, were very pleasant... and the food was excellent.
Because of the scheduling, we were able to celebrate my birthday on Bora Bora.
